“ABHA DESIGN STUDIO” that at present is an architectural & interior designing firm was established by Mr. Rahul Ratnaparkhi under the name “ABHA DESIGNS” at Akola, Maharashtra in the year 2006, initially which was limited only to graphic designing projects. Gradually, it led the founder to transform it into an architectural studio in the year 2012 with a notion to contribute and enhance the Architectural & Interior Designing practice.

Having worked in several design streams, he brings wide experience in Planning & Designing, Space Planning, Architectural Analysis, Design Research Documentation, Building Envelope Methodology, Graphics Designing, and Visualizations.

He studied architecture at the School of Architecture, COET, Akola (Amravati University, India) where he topped the B. Arch program throughout five years. (click here to see studio work)

He worked under Ar. Balkrishna V. Doshi Sir (Pritzker Prize and Aga Khan Award Winner) & Ar. Rajeev Kathpalia Sir as a trainee Architect at Vastu­ Shilpa Consultants, Ahmedabad. During his training period, he worked on projects like IIT Gandhinagar, RASNA Institute of Management, INFLIBNET (Information & Library Network Centre) at Gandhinagar, Redevelopment of Bhadra Precincts at Ahmedabad, and Our City Ourselves (ITDP) – Ahmedabad Future Vision 2030, etc.

After graduation, he worked with S. S. Sidhu & Associates as an Associate. Where he worked on Residential, Commercial projects, and several projects of Product Designing. Later­on SIDHU & RATNAPARKHI Associates came into existence.

Mr. Rahul was also involved in academics as a visiting faculty in the School of Interior Design, Akola. He often gets invited as an academic juror by several architectural and interior designing institutes.
